Enjoying the nice building of Amsterdam in the evening, unfortunately I had to skip the last Yushinkan iaido-training before the Haru seminar to attend this meeting.

Haru seminar

Just came back from the Haru (spring) seminar. We really had good keiko and could enjoy the spring sun during the breaks.
Thanks to the good training-atmosphere we all could demonstrate nice waza to the sensei during the taikai.

Although I didn't meet my favorite opponent (and buddy) in the matches, I really enjoyed this taikai, as everybody was able to outperform themselves and rise to a new level.
And if I have met other people in the shiaijo, things might have turned out completely different, but now I am just grateful I can go to Japan.

I had a very nice training in Eindhoven this weekend and it is always nice to see some familiar faces from outside my own dojo again.
